Sales & Purchase Terms

These Sales & Purchase Terms outline the conditions under which we offer and fulfill orders for livestock, dry goods, equipment, and related services. By placing an order on our website, through a direct invoice, or any other sales channel, you agree to these terms.

1. Product Availability & Order Fulfillment

Inventory Model: Many products listed on our website are not physically held in stock. We place orders with our authorized distributors after a customer places an order.
Order Confirmation: Upon placing an order, you will receive a confirmation. This does not guarantee immediate availability. You will be contacted if there are fulfillment delays.
Lead Times: Some items require a minimum of 1 week for processing. You will be updated if longer wait times apply.
Special Orders: Items ordered specifically for you are final sale and cannot be canceled once placed.

2. Order Pick-Up & Delivery

Pick-Up by Appointment: Local pickups are arranged by appointment only. Once your item is ready, we will contact you to schedule a pickup time at our warehouse.
Warehouse Location: 7137 58th St N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781.
Shipping Availability: Many products are available for shipment within the continental U.S. Livestock shipping is temperature & logistics dependent.

3. Livestock Sales & DOA Policy

All livestock sales are final.
For shipped livestock, please refer to our [Livestock DOA Guarantee Policy] for eligibility on dead-on-arrival (DOA) claims.
DOA claims must be submitted within 2 hours of delivery with timestamped photos before opening the bag.

4. Refunds, Returns, & Cancellations

Returns on new, unopened dry goods are accepted within 30 days of purchase and must be pre-approved.
Open-Box/Pre-Owned equipment, special orders, livestock, and consumables (salt, food, liquids, batteries) are non-refundable.
Canceled orders may be subject to a 20% restocking fee, depending on status.

5. Warranties

New products are typically covered by manufacturer warranties. As an authorized dealer (where applicable), your purchase may be eligible for warranty support directly through the manufacturer.
Tidalwave Aquatics does not warranty any items unless explicitly stated in the listing.

6. Pricing & Taxes

Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.
Sales tax is charged where applicable under Florida law.

7. Limitation of Liability

Tidalwave Aquatics is not liable for damages resulting from improper use or installation of products.
Buyer is responsible for confirming compatibility & intended use prior to purchase.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Ensure livestock tank compatibility, quarantine when applicable, and follow proper acclimation practices.
For equipment purchases, read product manuals and confirm technical requirements before use.

9. Services

Tidalwave Aquatics offers a variety of aquarium-related services tailored for both residential & commercial clients:

Aquarium Maintenance – Routine maintenance plans including water testing, cleaning, equipment inspections, & livestock care.
Aquarium Installation – Custom setups for reef tanks, freshwater tanks, & specialty systems, including delivery & plumbing.
Aquarium Relocation & Breakdown – Expert moving services for tanks of all sizes, including temporary holding & full reinstallation.
RODI Water & Saltwater Delivery – Bulk water supply service for top-offs or full fills, available for local delivery.
Custom Solutions – We work with clients to develop tailored services to fit unique aquarium needs or special requests.

All service requests are handled on a case-by-case basis & require a signed service agreement. Pricing varies based on complexity, travel, & frequency.
